Well, it worked. . .sorta.
By theberrybird from New Orleans, LA, USA
The first time I used it, I was ASTOUNDED. It actually does what it advertises! The second time I used it, I looked at my skin meticulously and found maybe 5 or 6 blackheads remaining. It's AMAZING. However, after the second time I used it (I kept the mask on for the full 10 minutes both times), my face hurt and stung a bit. I thought maybe I'd rubbed it in too hard. My face has a tendency to hurt and turn red for no reason, so I wasn't concerned. I followed it up with Murad's Mattifying Moisturizer, as before. When I woke up the next morning, my skin still hurt, but on top of that if felt painfully tight. I reached up to touch my face and I was immediately concerned because it felt scaly. I used my nail to scratch at it gently so I could remove whatever it was on my face. There wasn't anything on my face, and I was even more worried because it felt like my skin had lost some sensitivity; I hardly felt my nail on my skin. I went to the mirror and looked closely at my skin. It wasn't redder than normal, but when I poked my cheek, it looked as if there was a layer of something on my skin. Not wanting to irritate it, but wanting to remove it, I used the most gentle cleanser I have, and slowly cleaned my face. It immediately stung and hurt and when I was done, I looked in the mirror, again. It looked a little better, and I touched my face again. It was only a little less hard feeling. I put on my moisturizer again. After about half an hour, it went right back to the way it was. The following day I noticed some mild peeling. I know this doesn't happen to other people often, but I just wanna warn others with super-sensitive skin, take heed, and actually do a patch test, or even try using it, but only leave on for 3 to 4 minutes. Good luck!

I'm not an expert but it might be due to how many times a week you used it. Most of the masks I've used are supposed to only be used once a week or your skin can get irritated and/or dry.
If that's not the problem, in the directions it said they recommended you to use a moisturizer after using these two products. If that's also not the problem then I have no idea lol.
Sorry that happened to you, sounds really scary. :c
